It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Antoine David (Tony) van
Heerden of Brits, South Africa on 14 September 2024 at the age of 77 years. Our beloved
husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend passed away in his home in Oak
Ridge, New Jersey, surrounded by his loving family in his final moments. He was a man of
immense humor and wisdom, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones. His passion for
flying, love of cooking, and his unwavering spirit will forever be remembered.
He is survived by his Wife of 33 years, Millie; Children: Susan, David and Danielle; Grandchildren:
Katerina, Emma, David Jr., and Isaac; Brother, Frank; Sister-in-law Vera; Nieces: Stella and Judy,
as well as numerous other relatives, colleagues, and friends who will continue to honor his legacy.
